(Columbia, SC) -- During the ongoing Public Service Commission hearing Dominion Energy representatives said last week that they would be willing to walk away from a proposed purchase deal if their offer wasn’t accepted.
Well, yesterday, they sweetened their deal offering a slightly larger customer rate cut than before. It’s also a bigger reduction that the temporary one the government implemented this summer, that is scheduled to expire next month.
The latest offer includes a 15 percent rate cut that’s more than the temporary legislative cut that expires next month.
