(Greenville, SC) -- A significant storm is heading toward the Upstate. The National Weather Service said yesterday they are increasingly confident that a winter storm will develop this weekend.
It could begin as rain tomorrow morning before turning to snow and sleet tomorrow night. Areas from Greenville to Rock Hill and north could get more than three inches of snow with lesser amounts in other areas, and other parts of the state may only get rain.
While the weekend brings quite a bit of cold rain to the Midlands, there is a chance we could see a few snow showers develop on Monday.
