Flood Advisory Continues For Congaree River

(Columbia, SC) -- The Congaree River is expected to rise, and that could cause some problems for those who live nearby.

The National Weather Service has a Flood Advisory in effect until tomorrow morning. The river is expected to rise to as high as eleven-feet by then before dropping to about eight-feet by Thursday.

Flooding is expected in areas near the river and downstream from Columbia.
