Columbia Housing Authority Meets Today

(Columbia,  SC)  -- We could find out more today about the future of a public housing complex where two people died of carbon monoxide poisoning.

The Columbia Housing Authority will hold a meeting today to discuss the future of Allen Benedict Court and its residents, who are getting vouchers for new places after this month's incident.

In his State of the City address this week, Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin said the complex will be torn down.

He also called for SLED to investigate the complex, which was ruled uninhabitable by firefighters, and Columbia Police told News 19 last night that they're already investigating.
