Governor Fires Entire Elections Board

(Columbia, SC) -- The governor is trying to restore public confidence in the elections process.

Governor Henry McMaster announced yesterday he has fired the entire Richland County Elections Board.

The move came a day after a board meeting in which members showed what McMaster called improper conduct and bad behavior.

The board had been criticized since the public learned weeks ago that about a thousand votes in November's election were not counted.
