Former State Prosecutor Pleads Guilty To Wire Fraud

(Columbia, SC) -- A former prosecutor is likely going to prison. 

Former Fifth Circuit Solicitor Dan Johnson pleaded guilty yesterday in Columbia to federal wire fraud charges. 

Johnson was accused of using over 40-thousand dollars worth of taxpayer money for personal expenses. 

Johnson will be sentenced in June, and he could get over a year in prison.
