(Pelion, SC) -- A man is dead after a deputy-involved shooting in Richland County.
Twenty-seven-year-old Zachary Kinard was shot to death yesterday morning in Pelion after a stolen car chase that ended on Hilton Yonce Road.
The sheriff says after Kinard got out of the car, he pointed a gun at Deputy Richard Hazel, who fired his weapon and hit Kinard.
SLED is investigating.
