(Columbia, SC) -- An annual event to help victims of sexual assault will not take place because of threats.
Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands, yesterday, canceled the Walk A Mile In Their Shoes event set for today.
STSM says it decided to cancel after threats were made against them this week, but they did not reveal details of the threats.
Today's walk at the statehouse was to mark the tenth anniversary of the event.
