(Columbia, SC) -- Teachers across the state are taking action after being pushed aside and neglected for over a decade.
That's what a teachers group called SC for Ed said this week in announcing AllOut May 1st: A Day of Reflection for Educators.
On May First, hundreds of teachers will skip class to bring their concerns to lawmakers in Columbia.
The teachers want raises, smaller class sizes, and more counselors and social workers.
