Some tech-savvy prisoners in Lee County are facing charges.
The Department of Corrections announced yesterday that despite a block on cell phone service at the Lee Correctional Institution in Bishopville, some inmates found a way to stream live videos on Facebook from the prison through their phones.
It's not clear how they were able to get around the cell phone block. Corrections officials say this is why lawmakers need to allow them to jam cell phone signals.
