(Lexington, SC) -- After it took two weeks to seat a jury, a man accused of killing his children will finally go on trial in Lexington County.
Timothy Jones is accused of killing his five children over four years ago, and opening statements will begin this afternoon.
Two weeks of jury selection whittled down 200 potential jurors to 18, including six alternates.
Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty, but Jones' lawyers, who also represented Dylann Roof, are arguing insanity.
