(Lexington, SC) -- The testimony in a murder trial seems to be affecting the suspect emotionally.
Timothy Jones, Jr. appeared to cry during yesterday's testimony in Lexington County, where he's on trial for killing his five kids in 2014.
A detective who took the stand said Jones told him he killed his young children because he feared his six-year-old would chop him up and feed him to the dogs.
The 37-year-old Jones is asking the jury to find him not guilty by reason of insanity.
