(Columbia, SC) -- A teacher seen fighting a student will not return to the classroom in Richland District Two.
The unidentified Ridge View High School teacher resigned yesterday after the fight with a 15-year-old student that was caught on video the day before.
The teacher was placed on leave after the incident.
The superintendent said yesterday, in an email to parents, he's deeply troubled by the incident, and it's not representative of the school or the district.
