(Edgefield, SC) -- A prison in Edgefield County is drawing praise from the country's top prosecutor.
Attorney General William Barr visited FCI-Edgefield yesterday with Senators Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott.
They highlighted the First Step Act, which is designed to reduce recidivism rates at federal prisons through job training and treatment.
Barr praised the prison for what he calls innovative model programs to comply with the act, which Graham calls long overdue.
