(Columbia, SC) -- A school principal in Richland County is sorry for how he handled threats allegedly made by a student.
Cardinal Newman School Principal Robert Loia apologized yesterday for not informing parents earlier of a threat allegedly made three months ago.
Parents didn't learn of the threat until last week when local media reported the 16-year-old boy withdrew from the Columbia school and was arrested last month.
Loia says he hopes and prays he can earn back the trust of parents.
