Family Of Missing Girl Holds Out Hope

(Sumter, SC) -- They've been told to expect the worst, but the family of a missing Sumter girl is still hoping for the best.

Five-year-old Nevaeh Adams went missing this week, and police believe she was killed along with her mother.

Adam's body has not been found, though, and her father tells News 19 he hasn't lost hope that she's still alive.

Meanwhile, suspect Daunte Johnson was in court yesterday where he's charged with first-degree murder for killing 29-year-old Sharee Bradley, who is Adams' mother.
