(Lexington, SC) -- A suspected armed burglar is behind bars in Lexington County after a homeowner turned the tables on him.
Deputies said yesterday Michael Nowinski had a shotgun when he broke into a home last weekend on Greenwood Drive. After hitting three people with the butt of his gun, deputies say the homeowner used his own gun to shoot the 26-year-old in the chest.
Nowinski survived and is in custody along with an alleged accomplice.
