(Lexington, SC) -- A parent is credited with uncovering a possible threat against a Lexington County school.
Lexington District One announced yesterday that the parent was checking their child's cell phone recently when they saw alarming text messages about Lexington Middle School. The student who allegedly sent the texts is a 12-year-old at Meadow Glen Middle School, and that student is now banned from all school property in the district.
The student could face charges and also be expelled.
