(Columbia, SC) -- A search is underway to find a gunman who opened fire in a church in Richland County.
Forest Acres police say the suspect walked into Columbia's Centro Cristiano de Columbia Church yesterday morning, demanded money, fired a gun into the air, shot a worshiper, and fled down Decker Boulevard. The 23-year-old victim was taken to the hospital for emergency surgery, and there's no word on his condition.
The suspect is described as a tall, thin black man who drove off in a dark-colored Prius.
