(Wilmington, NC) -- The threat of Hurricane Dorian seems to be growing along the coast.
The National Weather Service yesterday upgraded parts of Georgetown and Horry counties from a Hurricane Watch to a Hurricane Warning, and a Storm Surge Watch has also been upgraded to a Storm Surge Warning.
Charleston, Beaufort, Colleton and Jasper counties are under the same warnings.
That means those areas could see life-threatening wind, rain and storm surge as Dorian approaches later today and tonight.
