Midlands Escapes Dorian Unscathed

(Columbia, SC) -- The Midlands appears to have survived Hurricane Dorian in one piece. 

There were some downed trees and power outages, but no major problems were reported. 

As the storm moved away from our coast last night, winds and rain in the Midlands diminished. 

The National Weather Service is calling for a sunny day today with a high of 95.
