State Lawmakers Moving Forward On Education Reform Bill

(Columbia, SC) -- An education reform bill is moving forward in the South Carolina General Assembly.

A Senate Education subcommittee voted to send the proposal to full committee yesterday. The group has met 20 times in the last few months to work on the legislation.

State Superintendent Molly Spearman says it could include a raise for teachers if signed into law next year.
