(Columbia, SC) -- Some police in South Carolina are using a new app to determine when an ID is fake.
It's called Age ID, and is being used by four law enforcement agencies in the state. The app reportedly uses an ID's barcode to determine whether or not it is real within seconds.
A recent report showed 40-percent of high schoolers in South Carolina have had a drink of alcohol within the past month.
