(Washington, D.C.) -- South Carolina's Republican senators are responding to Wednesday's announcement of the acquittal of President Donald Trump.
Lindsey Graham called the impeachment trials a "low point in the Senate." Senator Tim Scott, meanwhile, said that Democrats have been trying to remove the president since the day he came into office.
Both Republican senators from the state voted "not guilty" on the two impeachment articles of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
