Coronavirus: Seven Inmates Released To Help Curb Spread

(Lexington County, SC) -- Seven inmates have been released from the Lexington County Detention Center.

They were released in compliance with an order from the state Supreme Court that said anyone facing charges for a non-capital offense should be released to help prevent the coronavirus from spreading through jails.

Non-capital offenses are any crimes that are not punishable by the death penalty.
