(Myrtle Beach, SC) -- Hotels and rentals in Myrtle Beach are being ordered to stop accepting new reservations.
The City Council passed an ordinance at an emergency meeting yesterday.
Hotels will need to stop taking new reservations before May 1st, starting immediately.
Existing reservations for tomorrow through April 30th would be canceled or rescheduled.
