McMaster Shuts South Carolina Down

Governor Henry McMaster has issued a mandatory Home or Work order.

The order which takes effect Tuesday at 5pm directs South Carolinians to stay in their homes unless they are traveling to work, visiting family or getting essential goods.

McMaster also ordered stores that remain open to limit the number of customers to no more than 5 per 1000 square feet or 20% of the maximum occupancy as determined by the Fire Marshal.

Violations of the order could result in 30 days in jail or a $100 fine per day.
