Sumter Woman Charged With Licking Hands, Touching Food At Store

(Sumter, SC) -- A Sumter woman is accused of licking her hands and touching food in the grocery store. 

Shenir Gibson Holliday was arrested for aggravated breach of peace and food tampering. A bond was set for 100-thousand dollars and she was issued a citation for violating the state home or work order. 

She allegedly licked and coughed on her hands before pulling on freezer doors and items in the dry food section at the IGA grocery store on Pinewood Road on Saturday.
