SC High School League Allowing Workouts & Training This Summer

The South Carolina High School League will allow member schools to have workouts and training for student athletes this summer. The League is providing guidelines for returning to practice that were put together by a task force of athletic directors, coaches, superintendents, and the Sports Medicine Advisory Committee.

Once academic activities are allowed again, athletic programs will be asked to follow a three-phase plan. The first phase is to create cleaning schedules for athletic facilities, have athletes wear appropriate clothes and shoes to prevent sweat from getting onto shared surfaces, and to only have 10 people in total-- including coaches, athletes, and staff-- when gathering.
