(Columbia, SC) -- South Carolina officials are warning about the continued spread of the coronavirus amid a recent rise in cases.
State Epidemiologist Dr. Linda Bell says she is more concerned about COVID-19 in the state now than she ever has been before.
The state has seen some of the highest daily numbers over the past two weeks following the Memorial Day weekend.
State officials say the best way to stop the virus is to practice social distancing and to wear face coverings.
