USC To Require COVID-19 Testing Before Students Return

(Columbia, SC) -- The University of South Carolina will require all students and faculty to be tested for coronavirus before returning to campus.

President Bob Caslen sent out an email this week to address changes coming to the fall semester.

In addition to COVID-19 testing, they are also requiring face coverings in classrooms, fitness centers, dining facilities, and the Thomas Cooper Library.

The requirements come as the Columbia campus resumes in-person classes on August 20th.
