McMaster Warns Coronavirus Could Stop College, High School Football Seasons

Columbia, SC) -- South Carolina Governor McMaster is warning that college and high school football could be in jeopardy this fall.

At a press conference yesterday, he said restrictions on spectator sports cannot be lifted if the current trajectory of coronavirus cases doesn't change.

McMaster says executive orders banning not only football, but also concerts and movie theaters, will stay in place until the state turns a corner with the virus.

The Southeastern Conference is expected to decide in late July if they will attempt to have college and high school football.
