Cayce To Require Face Coverings In Public Buildings Starting July 10

(Cayce, SC) -- An emergency ordinance in Cayce will require residents over age 10 to wear face coverings in public buildings, starting July 10th. 

That includes restaurants, retail and grocery stores, salons and barbershops, medical and dental offices, and pharmacies. 

The City Council passed the ordinance unanimously last night. 

Any citizen who doesn't follow the ordinance can be fined up to 25-dollars a day, and any employee of a public business who doesn't comply can be fined up to a 100-dollars a day.
