(Columbia, SC) -- More jobless claims are being reported across the Palmetto State according to new numbers from the Department of Employment and Workforce.
More than 19-thousand South Carolinians filed for unemployment benefits last week. That brings the statewide total to more than 670-thousand initial claims filed since the middle of March.
Horry County saw some of the highest number of claims reported with 874. In Florence County, 614 new claims were filed.
