(Columbia, SC) -- The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control today announced 1,842 new confirmed cases COVID-19 and 69 additional confirmed deaths.
Due to reporting delays DHEC says the death total reflects deaths that have happened over the past few weeks. Among those deaths being reported today are 18 from Tuesday and 4 that were confirmed yesterday.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 63,880, probable cases to 204, confirmed deaths to 1,053 and 17 probable deaths.
