(Columbia, SC) -- A limited number of fans will be allowed to attend fall sporting events at the University of South Carolina.
The South Carolina Department of Commerce approved a plan that will allow about 20-thousand fans into Williams-Brice Stadium for home games.
About 675 fans will be allowed during soccer games at Stone Stadium, and 200 fans can attend volleyball games at the Carolina Volleyball Center.
Fans will be required to practice distancing and wear face coverings.
South Carolina will discourage tailgating and ban tent use.
