Family Of Teen Shot By Columbia Police Want Case Reopened

(Columbia, SC) -- Family members of a 17-year-old shot and killed by a Columbia police officer want the case reopened.

They gathered with the Radical Justice Network yesterday, saying there was a cover-up in the case.

Joshua Ruffin was killed after police say he pulled a gun after leading officers on a chase in April.

They want the Department of Justice and the South Carolina Attorney General's Office to prosecute the officer who fired the fatal shot.
