(Columbia, SC) -- There are newly-reported coronavirus cases and deaths in the Palmetto State.
The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control announced 1,019 new cases yesterday. That brings the state's total to 116,697 since the pandemic began.
There were 11 more deaths, which occurred over a number of days.
