That's the lowest single-day death total the Department of Health and Environmental Control has announced in almost two months.
DHEC also announced 339 new cases of COVID-19, which is the lowest one-day number in over three months, and yesterday's positivity rate was less than 11-and-a-half-percent.
Charleston County had the most deaths yesterday with two, while Richland County had the most new cases with 81.
