DHEC Announces Lowest Number Of New COVID-19 Cases In Three Months

(Columbia, SC) -- The coronavirus is to blame for five more deaths in South Carolina. 

That's the lowest single-day death total the Department of Health and Environmental Control has announced in almost two months. 

DHEC also announced 339 new cases of COVID-19, which is the lowest one-day number in over three months, and yesterday's positivity rate was less than 11-and-a-half-percent. 

Charleston County had the most deaths yesterday with two, while Richland County had the most new cases with 81.
