(Columbia, SC) -- The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control announced 527 newly confirmed cases yesterday.
That brings the state's total to 143,495 since the pandemic began.
Twenty-two more deaths that occurred over a number of days were reported. Of those, 15 were people ages 65 and older.
