South Carolina Could See Record Number Of Absentee Voting

(Columbia, SC) -- South Carolina could see a record number of absentee voting before Election Day. 

State election officials expected a million registered voters to cast ballots before November 3rd. The previous record was around 500-thousand absentee votes. 

As of yesterday, 190-thousand in-person absentee ballots had been cast in the state, and over 400-thousand absentee ballots have been issued to voters by mail.
