(Columbia, SC) -- Police in Columbia are investigating a hit and run that claimed the life of six-year-old Kayden Valdez.
It happened around 2:30 yesterday morning on the 2400-block of Percival Road. Police say the child was walking alone on the westbound side of the road when he was hit by a car that then fled the scene.
Police believe the vehicle was a dark sedan and ask anyone with information to contact Crimestoppers.
