(Bishopville, SC) -- An inmate is dead after an assault at the Lee Correctional facility.
Twenty-eight-year-old Travis Antwan Lee died at a local hospital after being attacked by several inmates in his cell.
He was serving an 18-year sentence for attempted murder, kidnapping, and criminal conspiracy.
SLED is investigating Lee's death.
