(Columbia, SC) The surge in Covid-19 cases in our state continues.
DHEC announced 1,410 cases of COVID-19 yesterday. That brings the total number of coronavirus cases in the Palmetto State to 189,251 since the pandemic began.
Seventeen more deaths were reported, bringing South Carolina's confirmed COVID-19 death toll to 3,924.
DHEC says all of the deaths occurred within the past 10 days.
Yesterday, Governor McMaster urged South Carolinians to get tested before Thanksgiving.
