Execution Delayed For South Carolina Death Row Inmate

(Columbia, SC) -- An execution scheduled for Friday is being delayed. 

The South Carolina Department of Corrections told the state Supreme Court that they won't be able to get lethal injection drugs in time. Their last stock of the drugs expired in 2013. 

Richard Bernard Moore has been on death row for nearly 20 years for the deadly shooting of a convenience store clerk in Spartanburg County in 1999.
