(Columbia, SC) -- A former Richland Two student's lawsuit against the school district and the Richland County Sheriff's Department is now settled.
The suit filed in 2018 claimed that former Richland County deputy Jamel Bradley made inappropriate advances toward a Spring Valley High School student while he was working as a school resource officer.
Bradley was later terminated from the Richland County Sheriff's Department and arrested in connection with a separate set of sexual abuse allegations.
The victim's attorney says a $300,000 settlement was reached with the Sheriff's Department, and a $600,000 settlement was reached with the school district.
