(Columbia, SC) -- The University of South Carolina is introducing their new head football coach.
A press conference will be held at 2 p.m. today after the school announced 43-year-old Shane Beamer would be the 36th head football coach for the Gamecocks. He's been an assistant coach at seven Football Bowl Subdivision schools.
University President Bob Caslen and Athletics Director Ray Tanner are also expected to participate in today's press conference.
