One person is dead after colliding with an Orangeburg County Fire truck.
It happened on Christmas Eve on U.S. Highway 301 south of SC Highway 4. A pickup truck driver lost control, crossed a median, and hit the fire truck that was traveling in the opposite direction.
The driver of the pickup truck died and the driver of the fire truck was not hurt.
