The South Carolina Department of Corrections is facing a lawsuit after a stabbing at McCormick Correctional Institution.
Joshua Brown's lawsuit says he was stabbed in the face and chest with two shanks in April of last year. He alleges that correctional officers failed to stop the attack.
Brown's suit claims he was diagnosed with PTSD after the incident.
